52 week Diploma Program
The Willis College Developmental Service Worker program graduate is trained and educated to support children and adults with developmental, learning and/or physical disabilities and disorders.
People with disabilities increasingly participate in valued community roles creating the need for qualified workers to support people in everyday activities at home or in school. The program includes both classroom based studies and field related (placement) work at social service facilities.
Graduates have a wide range of options when deciding where to apply training and education in the developmental service field: support worker, clinical support worker and outcome support facilitator. Potential employers include public and private school boards, group homes, and social service and government agencies.
