Program
The Willis College PSW will provide services to people in long term care, group homes and those living at home. It was developed by the Ontario Gov’t to reform long term care and community support services.
This single standardized program replaces, and consolidates the Health Care Aide and Home Support Worker I, II and III. It provides a solid educational base for workers in long term and support services for community and institutional facilities.
Students will learn to assist with the duties of everyday living in all types of settings. Their attitudes as well as their abilities for the clients are required for each and every person they support.
